Thrive in the courtyard

Thrive: a program for the whole person

Thrive in the Courtyard helps people who have Alzheimer's or another form of dementia feel independent and maintain their existing skills. Anchored in a life history tool, this specialized memory care program customizes each person's care. We incorporate their past experiences, physical skills, current interests, routines and hobbies into activities that deliver a meaningful, more satisfying daily life.

A homelike setting

We create a comfortable environment for residents’ ease - a secure neighborhood around a courtyard, with 24-hour staffing. Housekeeping and meal preparation are provided, and a professional nursing staff trained in managing cognitive, behavioral and physical symptoms works with residents, their families and physicians. The result is customized care, and families can be certain their loved one is well cared for, engaged in daily life and safe.

Constant in care

The needs of those who have Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia will change over time. When that person is your loved one, you want care that flexes and adapts. We’ll provide whatever care they require - constantly. • Staffing incorporates team members from Administration, Dining Services, Caregivers, Maintenance, Housekeeping and Life Enrichment
  • Team members engage residents when performing daily tasks for them and during friendly, everyday encounters
  • Meaningful, personal interaction helps every resident feel a sense of purpose and pleasure and encourages ongoing participation

  • Staff devoted to meeting individual needs
  • The best care possible, ensured by ongoing dialogue with family and physicians
